The Thrill of New Music

J.B. Scott has been in love with music his entire life. That love has been the foundation of his entire journey, as a writer and person. The melodies and lyrics from writers like Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, and Freddie Mercury inspired J.B. to begin songwriting himself. In 2020, J.B. began studying Commercial Songwriting at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. Here, he learned how to craft songs in the same city that shaped many of the writers whom inspired him as an adolescent. After graduating in 2024, he moved back to his hometown of San Antonio, TX, where he is now adding songs to his personal catalogue, self-producing a debut EP and album, and performing at every opportunity. J.B. loves spending time with his family, his cat (Newton Benjamin), his dog (Presley), and his close friends and band members.
