J.B. Scott
J.B. Scott is a Texas-based singer-songwriter with a fresh take on rock music that transports the classic lyricism and melodies of Dylan-era songwriting into a modernized style of instrumentation - and all with a little bit of that Texas twang. Growing up in a house with Elvis, the Beatles, and Eagles records playing constantly, J.B. fell in love with songwriting at an early age. He taught himself the art of writing original music, a talent which brought him to study Commercial Songwriting and Music Business at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. After finishing his studies, J.B. moved back to San Antonio to live closer to his family, whom he missed dearly during his studies, and to share his music with the amazing people of the city. In addition to recording vocals, he plays electric and acoustic guitar, bass, piano, and produces all of his music.

About J.B.

Throughout his time in Nashville, J.B. collaborated with a number of artists and cultivated his own sound through producing for himself and others in work stretching from country music to SYNC-oriented pop. J.B. is currently preparing for the first EP release of his creation with his band, J.B. Scott and the Suedes. In his free time, J.B. loves reading, writing, hiking, fishing with his cat, and spending far too long in San Antonio's many museums dedicated to art and history.
